The Japanese Society for Plant Systematics, founded in 2001, is an association of biologists who are interested in taxonomy, systematics, and biodiversity of plants. It publishes an international journal Acta Phytotaxonomica et Geobotanica and a Japanese journal The Journal of Phytogeography and Taxonomy (published in Japanese) and conducts annual meetings and symposia.
